As part of our Terms and Conditions, please note you agree to the HealthChange® teleconferences being recorded for training and quality purposes. Recordings may also be used for promotional purposes as set out in our Terms and Conditions. You may turn off your camera if you would like not to be involved.

Security: HealthChange Associates takes all reasonable security measures to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, destruction, misuse, modification or disclosure. As far as permissible under law, HealthChange Associates accepts no responsibility for the unauthorised access of personal information held by HealthChange Associates.

Required personal information: In some instances, you must provide personal information if you wish to use a particular service or participate in an activity. For example, email and contact details may be required if we need to confirm that you have been successful in purchasing a particular service.

Submission of Information: Any personal details (including contact details) are treated with respect. They will never be sold or used in an unethical manner. HealthChange Associates may contact you from time to time with information and offers if appropriate.

HealthChange Associates reserves the right to provide your information where it is required to do so by law, or to a third party if the disclosure is necessary to prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to the life or health of you or another person.

We use the information you submit for the purposes described in our Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy.

Permissions: Sometimes we will ask you to confirm that you agree to a particular activity such as expressly agree to receive newsletters or other information.

Disclosure of personal information: HealthChange Associates and their associated entities will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless otherwise authorised by law.

Data we collect: In certain circumstances we collect data that can be linked to you individually. For example, when registering for training service, to purchase products or joining a newsletter email group, we may store records of information such as the information you request to receive, or pages you viewed or links you click on. For example, when receiving our email newsletters we may collect data about the mailings you open and the links you click on from that newsletter.

In some cases, a digital profile may be formed based on your activity. We do this in order to improve your experience (for instance, because some services may allow you to build a profile which earns different privileges); or to improve our ability to provide a service (for instance, because our decisions about moderation of content may need to have regard to your profile).

Most of the data we collect is aggregated, making this information effectively anonymous to us.

Learning activity responses: During our programs you may complete activities, forms, quizzes or reflections. Please do not include information that could identify you, your clients or your colleagues. We may remove names, email addresses, organisation names and other identifying details, and combine responses with those of other participants. We use this de-identified information to develop training programs, case scenarios and learning activities; create educational content including social media posts, videos and articles; evaluate training outcomes; and contribute to research and publications. We will not publish responses in a way that identifies you, your clients or your organisation without your consent. If you would prefer your responses not be used in this way, please contact us and we will exclude them from future use.

Information provided by you with the intent of making that information public: Note that whenever you post personal information for availability in publicly accessible places, such message boards, or resource pages on our web site, this information becomes available to anyone with access to the internet. This information can be collected and used by others. If you include personal information (such as your contact details) you may receive unwanted messages from other parties in return. Therefore, we recommend that you refrain from providing personal information that you do not want seen in these public areas.  For example, provision of clinical cases or practice worksheets and tools containing your details, for the purpose of sharing this information with other clinicians via our website.

It is also up to you to ensure that you are abiding by Australia's privacy laws with respect to any information you provide to us to make public, particularly with respect to details about your consultations and personal information relating to your clients. HealthChange Associates takes no responsibility for the content, reliability and accuracy, or personal details contained therein.
